They might share Safaree Samuels as an ex but it looks like Sophia Body isn't a part of Team Nicki Minaj after she took shots at the Anaconda rapper in an interview recently.

Speaking with DJ Vlad of Vlad TV earlier this week, Sophia didn't hold back when speaking on Sameuls' past with Nicki. She spoke on his comments that it was actually her who told him he should work on his won career versus trying to make Nicki's pop.

"I've known Safaree for several years. As soon as I met him, I knew he was an amazing person. Good heart, very talented...You write...You wrote all of Nicki's [stuff] clearly. Mostly."

When DJ Vlad pointed out that Samuels has yet to confirm that he penned Nicki's biggest rhymes, Sophia quickly said, "He wouldn't. Of course he's being modest. But, I mean, I don't really know. But he's helped."

Given that Nicki and Samuels have gone their separate ways, Sophia said we'll "see" whether he was her ghostwriter on "the next album."

Sophia also opened up about fans' comments that Nicki got her rapping style from Samuels.

"It's the flow. The metaphors and stuff like that...I've always even when I would see him out randomly... I would always give him that positive. I could tell he had some issues with himself. I can just tell that he would be successful if he put the energy into himself."

Sophia confirmed that they are just "friends" now but did date for a little while after he and Nicki broke it off.

"It never got serious."
