The Good Wife's co-creator Robert King recently addressed a query about the Kalinda and Lana storyline, which was kind of left off midway.

The Good Wife Renewed For Two More Seasons?

Other than the romantic tug and pull between the couple, there was also the question of Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) trying to protect to Lana (Jill Flint) from Lemond Bishop (Mike Colter). As an FBI agent Lana's interest in nabbing Bishop threatened her life. In fact Bishop had asked Kalinda to slip a card -- which could be some sort of tracking device -- into Lana's bag. Kalinda broke the card in two, as she does care about Lana. But that whole part of the plot has been abandoned for a while as the creators shifted focus to other aspects of the story.

But King revealed to TVLine that they will be returning to it and hopefully fans will get a sense of resolution. "I think you should continue to wonder. [That plot thread] is not necessarily in the realm of the Russian assassin on The Sopranos, but it is still alive. Let's just leave it there," he said.

Will Johnny Elfman Return To Pursue Alicia?

It is known that Panjabi will be leaving the series with this season, so Kalinda's character arc will also be concluded. We are guessing the private detective will want to resolve all issues and ensure safety for all her loved ones, which also includes Cary (Matt Czuchry) before she disspiates into the mist.

The next episode, titled 'The End.' will air on April 26 on CBS.
