Erica Mena has finally set the record straight on whether she walked away from Love & Hip Hop New York on VH1 because of Bow Wow.

Fans believed that when she got with the rapper and actor (real name Shad Moss), he convinced her to leave the show because of her negative portrayal and even physical fights that she was involved in.

She spoke with HOT 97 recently and made it clear that while she quit the show just after announcing her engagement to the rapper, that he is not the reason.

"He doesn't even watch it or pay mind to it at all."

She added that her critics and haters are most likely "more offended" that she's turning in her wild girl cards for a ring and settling down.

Mena went on to say that she was set up by then girlfriend Cyn Santana, who never expressed her issues with Mena until the cameras started rolling.

"When we were off camera she never had an issue with me in the strip clubs or her feelings that I was with Bow. It's funny because she was the one that was with someone the whole time."

She clarified that she and Bow Wow were on "homeboy" level even after she and Santana broke up. But then they mutually agreed they wanted to be more than friends, despite neither of them wanting to be romantically involved with anyone at the time.
