Simon Cowell is pulling out the big guns for the UK edition of "The X Factor."

Cowell is rumored to be securing Beyonce to perform a duet on the season finale of "The X Factor."

Cowell is reportedly so confident that a16-year-old contestant, Ella Henderson, will make it the final three round, that he is wrangling the "Love on Top" singer to help attract several million more viewers and to increase her chances of winning.

When Beyonce last appeared in the finale of the UK edition of "The X Factor" with contestant Alexandra Burke in 2008, Burke was crowned the final winner of the hit singing competition.

A source confirmed that Cowell's plan to bring the multi-Grammy on the finale is in the works.

An insider of the show told Britain's Mirror newspaper that Cowell "would love to have Beyonce on the show because she is such a huge crowd pleaser and will make sure the final goes with a bang."

"The last time she sang with Alexandra it was incredible and we hope to have her sing a duet again," added the source. "Ella is the one most likely to sing with her because hearing their voices together would be just amazing."

"The show is still in its early stages, but Simon hasn't wasted any time in trying to line up acts for the final."

The source also revealed that British teen boy band One Direction will also return to the show that made them famous.

A rep for the UK edition of "The X Factor" has yet to confirm the report of Beyonce's appearance.

The guest appearance on "The X Factor" will be another major gig to  Beyonce's already packed schedule. The 31-year-old is set to perform the half-time show during Super Bowl XLVII in February, 2013 in New Orleans, according to the Associated Press. The NFL's biggest game will be held in New Orleans' Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The pop superstar confirmed she will headline the entertainment at next year's Super Bowl; she posted a photo of herself with the words Feb 3, 2013 inked on her cheeks. Super Bowl organizers also posted the photo news on their official Twitter account, with the words "Beyonce will perform @pepsi #SB47 Halftime Show in New Orleans. February 3 2013 on @cbs." And in an entry on her official website, www.beyonce.com, the Grammy-winning singer used the caption "countdown to touchdown" to acknowledge the report.

The annual NFL championship attracts more than 100 million TV viewers and high profile pop acts for its halftime show. Previous performers have included Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, U2 and Paul McCartney.

Unfortunately, Beyonce's busy schedule has cost her chance to work with Clint Eastwood. The singer was planned to be a part of Eastwood's latest film, a remake of the classic "A Star is Born."

"I was looking forward to the production of 'A Star Is Born' and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood," Beyonce told E! News on Tuesday. "For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together."

The UK edition of "The X Factor" is the first edition of its global franchise and was created by Simon Cowell in 2004 after he left his "American Idol" gig in America. If Beyonce appears on the UK edition of the "The X Factor," she will appear in the finale in Manchester in December 8 or 9.
