The big alliance of six might finally be turning on each other in the next episode of CBS's Survivor: Worlds Apart.

Does 'Survivor' Host Jeff Probst Consider Jenn A 'Quitter'?

While the post-merge of Survivor: Worlds Apart has been exciting with plenty of developments at camp, the boot order has been rather straightforward and predictable. The alliance of Dan, Sierra, Rodney, Carolyn, Tyler and Will have run the game so far, with former alliance member Mike now ostracized.

Mike and Shirin are now on their own, but they may still be able to stay in the game. The preview for next week's episode suggests that the tide may finally be turning on the big alliance.

Which 'Survivor: Worlds Apart' Players Should Return For Another Season?

Tyler is shown digging through Dan's bag in the preview. He says in confessional, "Came on. I've got to find a way to get into his bag."

He then tells Carolyn that Dan has the advantage of having an extra vote, to which Carolyn reacts in surprise.

If Tyler is actively searching through Dan's bag like this, there must be a reason and it's possible that a real line in the sand could be drawn.

Meanwhile, host Jeff Probst spoke with Entertainment Weekly after the episode and discussed the twist and how it relates to the next episode.

"The exciting part about having a new twist is nobody has any idea of how it will be played, if it will be played, when it will be played, or how it will change the game, if at all!" he said. "It's something we've wanted to do for a long time and it finally felt right and now it's a viable "thing" just waiting to be called into action!"

While it looks like Mike and Shirin could be the next to go, anything can happen in the game of Survivor.

Survivor: Worlds Apart airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
