Orange Is the New Black season 3 is less than two months away and anticipation is heating up. Series creator Jenji Kohan appear at the Time 100 Gala event this week where she teased the arrival of another prisoner in season 3.

Kohan spoke with Time directly and said that the new season will feature a prisoner inspired by Martha Stewart in the new season.

Stewart famously went to prison in 2004 after being convicted of insider trading, receiving a five-month sentence. She most recently made headlines at the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber due to her racy jokes at everyone's expense.

Kohan did not elaborate much further on the OITNB character, though she did say that she is Southern.

Stewart was told about the news that there would be a character inspired by her in the show and while she said she has never watched Orange Is the New Black, she added, "I'll look at it."

Orange Is the New Black has a huge ensemble of characters in its cast. While the addition of another character may seem like too much, the nature of the show is such that it balances everyone pretty equally. With the show being set in a prison, it also allows characters to come and go due to sentencing, release dates, etc.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is slated for release on Friday, June 12 on Netflix.
