Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige recently revealed that the shared Sony/Marvel character will still be mired in high school adolescence when he reappears on the big screen, and each of the aforementioned actors all can easily fit into the role of a 15/16-year-old boy.

"We want to play with Spider-Man in the high school years because frankly there've been five Spider-Man films and the amazing thing about it is, even though there've been five Spider-Man films, there are so many things from the comics that haven't been done yet," Feige explained, according to Collider. "Not just characters or villains or supporting characters, but sides to his character."
