In addition to announcing the news about the release dates, viewers are finally getting the first look into the new film after Universal shared a new teaser photo from the movie and luckily for fans they get a chance to see a sexy Mr. Grey.

In the photo, the actor is seen looking mysterious as he covers his eyes with a masquerade ball mask. Sadly this is the only teaser photo, so viewers will have to make do for now.

On Wednesday The Hollywood Reporter announced that a source close to film's production team told the site that Niall Leonard, who is married and has two sons with the author, E.L. James, is an actor and screenwriter and is said to be writing the script for the Darker and Freed sequels.

Fifty Shades producer Michael De Luca recently sat down with the site and said that Leonard will definitely be a great asset to the team.

"Niall is an outstanding writer in his own right, with multiple established credits, and we are lucky to have him join Team Fifty," De Luca in a statement to THR.

Both Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have confirmed that they will be returning for the new movies, so be sure to check in for updates on the cast and for more information about the film.
