While Erica Mena and Bow Wow have faced lots of controversy surrounding their wedding, the former VH1 Love & Hip Hop New York star revealed they have yet to set a date.

Interestingly enough, they first said it would be set for April of this year before changing it to this summer. There were even rumors that they had already become husband and wife in a secret ceremony. But in a recent interview with HOT 97, Mena confirmed that there's no specific day scheduled for them to tie the knot.

She first said that there was an actual date before clearing it up and said, "Yes and no... We've kind of set the month... June...We haven't set the date exact yet because it's being done at our pace and our time."

She added, "I definitely know that it makes a lot of people uncomfortable that we're together."

What she wasn't afraid to do was show off the bling Bow Wow put on her ring finger.

"He did a great job. He really did."

As far as how he popped the question, Mena said she was clueless. In fact, it was a pleasant surprise for lots of people.

"The only people who knew were him and my best friend."

She said that was during the BET Hip Hop Awards weekend. She noticed some "strange" things were going on and "felt" he might propose.

"The way he did it was pretty perfect. He mentioned that he has witnessed my last two relationships. He didn't understand. He said, 'I don't want you to be a girlfriend... Your days of being a girlfriend are over.'"

He then got down on one knee and officially popped the question.

Bow Wow wrote back in November on Facebook that the wedding was set for April. He called out TV host Wendy Williams who said the couple wouldn't make it to their wedding day.
