After seeing her friend and fellow gymnast Shawn Johnson take center stage on an ABC dance competition, Olympic gold medalist Jordyn Wieber would not mind also trading in the gymnast mat for the dance floor, Enstarz exclusively reported.

Currently, Shawn Johnson is at the top of the leaderboard on the ABC hit "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars." When Enstarz asked Wieber what she thought of Johnson's dancing abilities on the show, she gave a major nod to Johnson, saying, "I think she's doing very well. We actually just saw her the other day, she came to Des Moines [Iowa] and we did a little shooting for the show and I think she's doing excellent."

Wieber even posted a photo of her with Johnson and Derek Hough on her Instagram.

But would she want to be on the show herself?

"That would be a dream come true. I love dancing," she said. "On tour we can incorporate a little bit of dancing and I love it."

The gold medalist referred to the 40-city gymnastics tour she is currently on with her fellow Team USA "Fab Five" gymnasts Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney. The tour began on Sept. 8 and will go until Thanksgiving.

Wieber also said that she loves the "performance aspect" of the tour, which would make her feel comfortable in front of a live audience and airing if she was to ever go on "DWTS" or any other dance competition.

Her brother, Ryan, recently started a modeling career. However, Wieber did not sound so enthusiastic about trying that out.

"I don't know. We'll see," she said.

Wieber, Douglas and other professional athletes were in New York City's Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday night, Oct. 17, for the 33rd Annual Salute to Women in Sports event, where Douglas won the Sportswoman of the Year Award for an individual athlete.
