Once Upon a Time star Lana Parrilla recently previewed what Regina's journey through New York will be like, and needless to say she does not enjoy herself.

'Once Upon a Time' Fans Should Be 'Very Concerned' About Emma

Regina is going with Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to rescue Robin (Sean Maguire) from Zelena (Rebecca Mader) in New York in the next episode of Once Upon a Time. When they are there, Regina will discover that the big city is nothing like Storybrooke.

Parrilla spoke with TVGuide.com this week about their big trip.

"When they're in New York, she doesn't feel like her magic is pouring out of her, and she's powerless," Parrilla said. "But there's a lot of ground to cover in a short amount of time. So these women are like Thelma & Louise, running through this town, and Lily really takes us on an adventure."

She added, "There's one little moment when we're walking through New York in a building and it's gross and dirty. She's like, 'I don't know why I created Storybrooke when I could've cursed everyone to come here.'"

Parrilla did not reveal any details on if Regina's quest to save Robin would be fulfilled, but she did tease that fans will learn something about Regina in the next episode.

"You will learn something very new about Regina, and you will also get to see Barbara Hershey again [as Cora]... And the Evil Queen is back in that episode as well," she said.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
