Apollo Nida remains in federal prison on fraud charges and his wife The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks has shied away from confessing if he ever physically abused her.

While taping the first part of the reunion special that aired on Bravo Sunday night, Parks stayed mum when it came to just how far Nida went with her.

"I don't know if I need to discuss that with you to be honest," she said when host Andy Cohen asked if he ever "got physical" with her.

In what Cohen called "one of the most disturbing things I've seen in the seven seasons," Nida got pretty intense with Parks just hours before he turned himself in to begin his sentence. He grabbed a drill and headed toward Parks before she told him she would call police if he didn't leave. Even though he did not hit her, Parks said multiple times she wasn't sure if he was going to because he was so irate at the time.

"My husband definitely has a temper and he can get out of hand. I think we saw that during the pajama party," she said referencing a time last season when Nida was involved in the first physical fight in the show's history. He ended up bruising another man, Kenya Moore's friend Brandon Deshazer's ribs. "I just didn't know," Parks added.

She revealed to Cohen that she was "grateful" the show's cast and crew were at their home to witness and maybe even prevent Nida going too far.

Part two of the reunion airs on Bravo next Sunday, May 3 at 8/7c.
