On Friday, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Lauryn Thompson aka "Pumpkin" spoke to Inside Edition, revealing she was bisexual, and outting her mother, "Mama June" in the process.

"I'm attracted to females, and I’m attracted to males," Thompson confirmed, according to a report by The Huffington Post on Saturday. Moments later, she outted her mother, saying, "She's gay, too! June is gay, too."

"You can not hide who you truly are," Thompson explained of her sexuality, noting that while the interview was supposed to be about her coming out, her mother's own sexually quickly stole the show.

"The show is about me coming out, but June has come out, too," she said.

Moments later, Shannon confirmed the news.

"I'm not going to lie. I've played in the minors, but never went pro," June said, explaining she's fooled around with other women, but never had a relationship with one.

As for what fans will think, Shannon wasn't concerned.

"Haters are going to hate," she said.

Also in the interview, Thompson said she was currently single, but hoping to reconcile with an ex-girlfriend, whom she recently reached out to, via text message.
