The 100's Bellamy Blake will receive a hero's praise in season 3.

'The 100' Season 3: Return Will 'Blow Your Mind', Jason Rothenberg Teases New Season

Bellamy (Bob Morley) may never be able to wash the blood of Mount Weather from his hands, and he certainly can't retcon his mistakes from season 1, but it seems like a stygian world has managed to bring out the best in the drop ship's hitchhiker. When season 3 rolls around, the young leader's heroic actions will catch the attention of those around him.

"He'll be recognized as the hero he is," series creator Jason Rothenberg teased on Sunday.

Character development has raised the oldest member of the 100 (and one) from unthinking self-preservation to unflinching self-sacrifice. Echo and her Grounder pals we're to only witnesses to Bellamy's harvest chamber trauma, but his trials and tribulations were told to Clarke (off screen) as the Sky People's small army made the long trek from the corpses of Mount Weather to the lake of Camp Jaha.

"They had a long walk back to camp on which to catch up," Rothenberg reminded fans.

It seems even more people will soon find out that Bellamy's halo isn't as crooked as they thought. What new deadly adventure will cause this, however, is unknown.
