Jordana Brewster's character Mia's exit was seemingly tied to Brian O'Connor's (Paul Walker) in Furious 7, which left a lot of fans wondering if this was the last they would see of her.

Paul Walker's Character To Be Replaced By Brother, Cody, In Furious 8?

O'Connor's decision to leave the dangerous world of fast cars so as to be able to raise his family with Mia, who was expecting their second child, was shown toward the end of Furious 7. This was a way to give Walker a happy send-off, but Mia was also written into it. It does seem unlikely that she would return in a pivotal role, except for a chance appearance here and there. But Brewster is not writing off her return just yet, as she hinted to the possibility of her coming back in a recent interview with Huffington Post Live.

"I don't know [if I'd do another film], but it's always dependent on the fans," she said. "If they want one and if there's an appetite for it. We never want to jump the shark!"

Furious 7 Should Win Best Oscar, According To Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel recently revealed that Fast and Furious 8 will release on April 25, 2017. Diesel also went on to place Walker in the next project beautifully stating that next film will be "from" him.

"So, if fate has it - fate, F8 - then you'll get it. 'Furious 7′ was for Paul; 8 is from Paul.'"

Furious 7 hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
