Fans of Secrets and Lies who watched the original Australian show have been convinced for some time that Ben Crawford's (Ryan Phillippe) daughter Abby (Belle Shouse) killed his son with another woman, but many are wondering if his wife, Christy (KaDee Strickland) will also be implicated in the crime.

WARNING: Potential Spoilers Ahead

Fans have been speculating that Abby killed Tom since the show's March premiere, and in a Cornell:Confidential clip on ABC (which features deleted scenes that also drop big hints about the mystery) Ben's younger daughter seems to give off some very telling vibes--but it's her mother's actions that seem to indicate something even bigger is going on.

The clip begins with Christy allowing Detective Cornell into her brother's home, where she and her daughters have been staying. After she ducks out to take a phone call, Cornell strikes up some conversation with Natalie (Indiana Evans) and Abby about Christmas--which is when Abby starts to make comments that cast suspicion on her.

6 Potential Suspects Who May Have Murdered Tom

"Do you think she's going to move?" Abby asks in the clip after Cornell comments that Jess (Natalie Martinez), Tom's mother most likely had the worst Christmas out of everyone.

"Why would she?" Cornell asks.

"Everyone else did...and Tom's gone," Abby replies. "Why would she want to stay?"

The comments seem to make Cornell suspicious, and after Christy returns, she only seems to be fueled even more into suspicion by other comments Abby makes.

After bringing up that Tom and Ben spent so much time together, Abby makes a face and then seems to snootily refer to Tom as a nuisance when she lists the things her father used to do with the neighboring boy.

"He did everything with Tom. Football. Tricycle," she says. "He tried swimming, but he was a baby. He wouldn't even go in with his water wings."

However, Christy's behavior in the clip is also very telling--and could indicate she's aware her daughter was responsible for the crime, and she is now trying to cover up that fact and remove any suspicion headed her way.

Cornell asks Christy about the time Ben came home the night of the murder, which Christy said she couldn't confirm since she was asleep--but as soon as Abby speaks up and defends her father's honor, Christy can't seem to want Cornell out of there any faster--something that also seems very suspicious.

The truth will be revealed on the May 3 finale, airing 9 p.m. on ABC.
