"Hey ladies and bro beans! What a journey it's been. It never seems to end. But we continue to work everyday to make this BMS Movie the best comedy in the history of the known freaking universe," the post reads. "We are scheduled to deliver the completely finished film to Lionsgate Friday of next week. They will then watch it and make their final decision on Theater count, release date and P&A (how much advertising they'll do)."

'Blue Mountain State' Wraps Shooting In North Carolina

"So far they love the film and seem to be supporting it as much as we'd hoped they would," the post continued. "The fans have a great partner in Lionsgate distributing this. Now get out there and start naked-picketing for Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland to be in a trillion theaters in September. Sincerely, Thad's Nerd. PS (Someone help me. Please. I haven't been fed in days and I don't like the tickle game).

Fans have been eagerly awaiting news of the film since it reached its fundraising goals through a Kickstarter project back in April 2014, the third film to receive an extensive amount of financial backing through the crowdsourcing website. Two other films, Wish I Was Here and The Veronica Mars Movie also received notable funding through the project back in 2013. Both of those films were released in theaters in 2014.
