She has one of the hottest bodies in the biz, and now Jennifer Lopez wants you to be the "best version" of yourself, too. The singer and actress is being criticized for hawking a new weight loss program that is supposedly encouraging participates to compete with each other.

According to Refinery29 on Tuesday, the 45-year-old mother-of-two is promoting her lifestyle brand BodyLab with a #BeTheGirl weight-loss challenge that involves a personalized fitness and nutrition plans including easy, healthy recipes and motivation from the Hollywood star herself. The program involves a detox and cleanse plus a fat burner containing a 7-Day Ultra-Fast Slim Kit.

In addition, there will also be weekly prizes at the end of the challenge with participants getting their chance to win a special "NYC Prize Package" along with a chance to meet Lopez herself.

Refinery29 writes, "We're all for being the healthiest version of you, and if it's Jenny that gets you there, that's great. But, we're not so hot on turning weight loss into a competition - we've seen where that gets us - or on pushing rando supplements to make it happen. After all, your weight doesn't have to define your summer, and you don't need a diet either."

So far, Lopez herself has not made any comments about the criticism.
