The New York Giants (4-2) and Washington Redskins (3-3) will reignite their rivalry at MetLife Stadium on Sunday in what should be a new historical chapter.  After a dominating victory over the San Francisco 49ers 26-3, the Giants will go up against rookie phenom Robert Griffin III.  Their will be a lot at stake in the NFC East game, as Washington can move up into a first place tie with a win in the closely matched division.

Although he's been hindered as of late with injuries, New York wide receiver Hakeem Nicks should still play a crucial role in the Week 7 matchup.  Nicks and the Giants' receiver corps are expected to take advantage of the Redskins' shaky secondary, which is currently ranked no. 32.  QB Eli Manning will also look to play off of the reliable form of Victor Cruz, who has continued to perform up to par way more often than not.

On the defensive side for Big Blue, RG3 may pose a bit of an issue with his speed and agility.  Griffin has ran the football a minimum of seven times in each game and is seemingly fearless while doing so.  Another weapon in his backfield will be Alfred Morris, who should get a brunt of carries.  If Washington can keep the New York defense at bay with their running game, it will more effectively allow them to set up the play-action.

Nonetheless, the point spread between the two teams isn't expected to be as wide of a margin as one would have initially thought.  However, despite the Redskins' overachieving play thus far, the defending Super Bowl Champion Giants are still the clear favorites.  While RG3's performance has been nothing less than superb, Manning is still a veteran quarterback with a slew of offensive weapons.
