Sasha Farber does not want to overshadow any of the work that Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough are doing on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

Farber stepped in to dance with Liukin after Hough suffered multiple injuries last Monday. With Hough sidelined for an indeterminate amount of time, Farber is operating as Liukin's partner for the foreseeable future.

Speaking with Access Hollywood on Tuesday, Farber admitted that this week has been "crazy" for him, saying that they are just "taking it day by day."

Farber also noted that Hough has still been able to choreograph dances, even in an incapacitated state.

"Derek is one of those guys where he can't still still let alone and now trying to sit still and teach choreography and not be able to walk," Farber explained. "He was crawling to us at one point during the rehearsals and it turned out so good."

While it is still unknown how long Hough will be out, Farber does not feel any need to take credit for his success with Liukin, if they were to end up winning the Mirrorball trophy in the end.

"[Derek's] done a lot of the hard work and it's still Nastia and Derek at the end of the day," Farber admitted. "I think it'll be their trophy and I'll just be in the background like 'yes!'"

After the season Farber will continue to be busy. He said on Access Hollywood that he will be in the Dancing With the Stars live tour which kicks off in June and travels to 40 cities.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
