Actress Ashley Benson is reportedly dating her "Spring Breakers" co-star James Franco.

The pair was spotted walking together near Washington Square Park in New York City in early October. They were also seen holding hands last week at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride.

"They have been seeing each other for a little over a month, but things are going well," an insider told The New York Post.

Benson has played the lead role of Hanna Morin on "Pretty Little Liars" since its debut in 2010. The 22-year-old and Franco will appear in the upcoming film "Spring Breakers" with Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgen and Rachel Korine. The story centers on four college students who decide to carry out a robbery in order pay for their college spring break. "Spring Breakers" is set for release in 2013.

Benson spoke to JustJared about working on the upcoming film. "I was super nervous before I got the movie and I was worried about it. I talked to [director Harmony Korine] about it and he was like, 'There's no need to stress out. You guys are college students in the film and nobody has the perfect body! Harmony really wanted us to look like we drank all the time and we partied, because that's what they did, and he didn't want us to have perfect bodies."

Franco, 34, has been nominated for several awards for his appearance in the critically acclaimed biopic "127 Hours." The film was based on the true story of the survival of Aaron Ralston, a man who was hiking and got trapped in a boulder and was eventually forced to amputate his own right arm in order to free himself. Franco was nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award for his portrayal of Ralston.

Franco has also starred in "The Rise of the Planet of the Apes," "Green Hornet" and "Spiderman 3."
