'The Blacklist' Season 2 Spoilers: Finale Holds 'Big Discovery', Mystery Of The Fire Unraveled [VIDEO]
The Blacklist will close out season 2 with a trip down memory lane.
Or rather, a trip down the hazy and dangerous country road that serves as Liz's childhood remembrances.
The NBC drama will shine a spotlight on the series' mysterious fire during "Masha Rostova," and take a good hard look at how Red is connected to the FBI profiler.
"We are, in the last few episodes, going to be going back to that critical night in which so much of the story has its roots," executive producer Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly. "Yes, we're going to have a big discovery. The storyline of Liz and her mother and how she's connected to Red is going to be at the heart of our finale."
The Blacklist has been slowly teasing out Liz's complicated past over the last two seasons, and it seems the mystery will finally come to head on May 14. However, The Blacklist axiom seems to be to present two questions for every answer, meaning viewers will surly have plenty to contemplate over the summer hiatus.
