According to People Magazine this past week, Duggar is recovering at home with the help of her husband, Derick Dillard as they are settling in to their new life with their almost 1-month old baby son, Israel David.

The new celebrity mother told the magazine, "I am getting better. I am still recovering. I am trying not to overdo it."

With her parents Michelle and Jim Bob along with her siblings near by, Jill has more than enough help with her new bundle of joy. But for now, it looks as though she and her husband Derick are trying to be as hands-on as possible with their baby.

She said, "I am so grateful for the help of my family. I have had one of my sisters, my mother or Derick's mother here with me most of the time now that Derick has gone back to work. It is really a blessing to have family close by to reach out to."

As far as her caesarian section, Jill admits that she is taking it one day at a time until she fully heals.

She explained, "One day I felt really good and I did too much that day and the next day, I paid for it. The pain around my incision depends on what I've done that day and if I've rested enough or not."

This is the first child for the couple.
