First lady Michelle Obama and Mitt Romney's wife Ann Romney graced the stage of the third presidential debate on Monday night as they opted for different styles of outfits, playing with colors and structure.

The first lady and Mrs. Romney met on the stage of the third presidential debate between their husbands Monday night in Boca Raton, Florida. Michelle wore a grey short sleeve dress with black lace overlay by Thom Browne while Ann wore an emerald green Oscar De La Renta frock with a floral-print skirt.

They did not interact before the debate began and despite the verbal attacks between their husbands, both seemed very friendly with each other when the debate was over as the families of both candidates greeted on stage.

As much as the political world argues whether President Obama or Mitt Romney outperformed the other on the Presidential debates, the fashion world seems equally interested on the style and looks of their wives.

Last week Mrs. Obama and Mrs. Romney were the subject of a fashion face off as both wore bright pink dresses to the second presidential debate. Michelle wore a bright pink dress with a coordinating jacket and a white pearl necklace. Ann wore a short-sleeve bright pink dress contrasted with an aqua necklace.

Block colors and structured outfits had been the trend of the presidential debates until last night. At the first presidential debate, the First lady wore a lavender dress with patterned blouse by British designer Preen while Ann wore a white two piece suit and pearls.

What did you think of their outfits last night?
