The finale of season 6 of The Good Wife is just around the corner and while it won't be a shocking concluder there might be a cliffhanger thrown in.

Alicia To Be More 'Humble' And Will 'Soften' In The Finale

As the political fiasco takes Alicia (Julianna Margulies) down and she is struggling to win back the confidence of her old law firm, it is probably the toughest time for her yet. Judging from the preview, it seems like Peter might not be by her side anymore, as everything takes a nose dive in her life. "You don't think I can walk away from this?" Peter (Chris Noth) is heard telling Alicia.

Peter and Alicia only seemed to have been getting stronger but mostly in the professional sphere, but as things fall apart, even this remaining aspect of their relationship might take a hit.

The Good Wife Renewed For Two More Seasons?

The other highlight of the episode, titled 'Wanna Partner?,' is set to be a moment Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) and Alicia are set to share.

A new report by TVLine states that fans will finally get what they have been seeking for a long time. The publication has it from a good source, that Kalinda and Alicia will get a moment to seek closure, and the scene will be heartbreaking in the finale episode.

Co-creator Robert King spoke about building things up to this momentous occasion. It "is very much intentional to raise expectations," he said. King also added that fans should "stay tuned."

The next episode is set to air on CBS on May 10.
