Former MLB all-star Derek Jeter and his girlfriend model Hannah Davis have made their very first red carpet appearance as a couple.

And it only took three years. Jeter and Davis dazzled on the red carpet of the 2015 Met Gala Monday night. Davis nearly stole the show in a red J. Mendel gown.

It featured one strap with various cut-out areas and a high slit. She completed her look with Marina B chandelier earrings and a classic low bun. She also donned Christian Louboutin shoes and a clutch from Kotur.

As for Jeter, he kept his look classic with a Rag & Bone tuxedo. The 40-year-old athlete wrapped his arm around the 24-year-old’s waist as they smiled for the cameras.

While this is a pretty big deal for the couple who have been together since 2012, it’s not clear if wedding bells are ringing for them quite yet. They both seem content in taking their time and moving at their own pace. In fact, not too long ago Davis revealed that rumors that she and Jeter and planning a lavish but very secret ceremony is a little “annoying.”

She told Daily News Confidential on April 28, “I really try not to read a lot of the stuff. It’s more annoying to hear it from friends and family because I am like, ‘don’t you think I would tell you if that was the case, you’re not going to hear it (somewhere else).’”

She added that her modeling career has helped her stay “busy.”
