A new trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road was unveiled on May 4, and it gives us more details about Charlize Theron's character Imperator Furiosa.

In the clip, titled 'Retaliation,' Furiosa is seen confronting the antagonists in a deal for fuel. She puts her hands -- one of which is amputated and replaced with a mechanised limb -- up in surrender after jumping out of a massive fuel tank vehicle. "It's all here, 3,000 gallons of guzzling just as you asked," she says. Max (Tom Hardy) awaits in ambush as she tries to engage the goons.

"You said, a few vehicles in pursuit," a voice from the villainous troop screams back at Furiosa. "We caught three war parties!"

Furiosa walks away from the truck unnerved, saying, "Yeah, well I got unlucky." Then she suddenly calls to her mates to drive and leaps over, as the vehicle explodes behind her.

"They're sitting on 2,000 horsepower of nitro boosted war machine," Imperator's voice plays in the backdrop as the glimpses of the antagonists' pad are shown.

At one point Max is even seen asking her as they drive in the desert if she has done this before, to which she says, "many times."

The movie was directed by George Miller and also stars Nicholas Hoult as Nux, Hugh Keayes-Burn as Immortan Joe, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as The Splendid Angharad.

Mad Max: Fury Road is going to hit theaters on May 15.
