Ashton Kutcher Advocates For 'Touch Our Future'

Houzz debuted a four-part video series following the 37-year-old as he renovates his childhood home's basement.

In the video that is below Kutcher said, "I think everybody has a place in their life that they call 'home'."

"It sort of has that feeling of home and no matter where you go in the world or what you see, what you do, when you think of the word 'home,' you're drawn to a specific place in your mind," he added.

The place that Kutcher classifies as "home" is his childhood home where his mom and stepdad still reside. He actually helped his stepdad build it when he was 13 years old and now he's giving his mom something she has always wanted; a renovated basement.

"At really the end of the day it's my way of saying thank you to my mom. My mom has been the greatest influence in my life. My parents gave me everything," he shared.

Kutcher's renovations include bringing in natural light, knocking down walls to give a more open space and more!
