Sissy Spacek recently joked when her character would die on Netflix's latest addictive drama Bloodline.

'Bloodline' Star Linda Cardellini Reveals Why She Signed On To Play Meg

Spacek, who plays family matriarch Sally Rayburn in Bloodline, spoke with GoldDerby recently and was asked about the amount of death her character has been forced to confront.

Losing her husband Robert (Sam Shepard) and her son Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) as well as her daughter Sarah back in the day, she has certainly been through a lot.

"[My death] comes later," Spacek joked.

Working with her cast, which includes Kyle Chandler (John), Linda Cardellini (Meg) and Norbert Leo Butz (Kevin), Spacek had her hands full getting to know all of them.

"I was [so] busy establishing relationships with all of my adult children," she said. I remember the first time I met them, I walked in the room and I'm going, 'oh my God, they're adults!'"

Meanwhile, Mendelsohn also spoke to GoldDerby about his "black sheep" character Danny and whether or not he knew about his ultimate fate in the 12th episode of the season.

"I knew where they were going [with the story] in a general sense, but how they would get there we had no idea," Mendelsohn admitted.

It doesn't seem likely that Mendelsohn will return for season 2, but season 1 included an interesting feature in which Sarah would appear to Danny, essentially as a ghost. It's always possible that Danny could become the same type of thing to John, Meg and Kevin, who are haunted by what they did to their brother.

Bloodline season 1 is currently available to stream on Netflix, with season 2 coming at some point in 2016.
