Just days after the singer was accused of punching a man during a basketball game, the alleged victim has requested his case be dismissed.

"The guy who accused Brown of punching him early Monday morning during a basketball game in Vegas called the cops on Tuesday and told them he wanted to drop the case. He did not explain why," TMZ reported on Tuesday.

Just two weeks ago, Brown appeared in court, where he settled a case against him for a separate basketball-related incident. At the time, TMZ claimed Brown was forced to pay his alleged victim for reportedly beating him during a pickup game in Los Angeles.

News of Brown's alleged assault in Las Vegas first hit the web on Monday.

"The altercation went down at the Palms Casino Resort -- according to police ... Chris was playing hoops at 3:42 AM and at some point he got into an argument with one of the guys playing -- and allegedly punched him," TMZ reported. "The pickup game was being played in the famous Hardwood Suite ... where Chris was staying."

According to the report, police didn't speak to Brown at the hotel, but later named him as a suspect and gave him two options regarding how to proceed: either sign a misdemeanor citation for battery and face the charge in court, or leave the option of pressing charges up to the D.A.
