Mark Sanchez is a free agent.

New reports reveal that the football player broke up with his actress girlfriend, Eva Longoria, of three months.

"Eva and Mark split amicably and remain friends," a source close to Longoria told Gossip Cop. "There is no drama."

A rep for the New York Jets quarterback confirmed that he has split from the "Desperate Housewives" actress.

"Mark adores and respects Eva," Sanchez's rep told Us Weekly. "It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends. They just have completely different schedules and lifestyles."

"Mark says he is really upset about the break-up with Eva," a source told New York Post. "He is telling friends he tried everything he could to make her happy, and to make things work between them, but they live in very different worlds."  The source also revealed that the couple ended their relationship before his NFL game on Sunday, Oct. 21.

"The problem was Mark is very focused on football, while Eva is a busy businesswoman," the source said. "She lives in Los Angeles, is doing a lot of philanthropic and political work, and is developing a number of TV shows, including the NBC dating series Ready for Love."

Sanchez, 25, was spotted flirting with other women in New York City last weekend. An insider said Sanchez "likes to go out and have fun" while Longoria is more "focused on her career and philanthropic work," specifically her work for the Obama campaign.

Sanchez has been linked in the past to model Kate Upton and actresses Hayden Panettiere and Jamie-Lynn Sigler. Longoria divorced NBA player Tony Parker in early 2011. Parker reportedly was caught cheating with a friend's wife through a series of flirty and steamy text messages. Shortly after the divorce, Longoria dated actress Penelope Cruz's younger brother Eduardo Cruz, however, they split this past June.

As Sanchez is gearing up for the upcoming NFL season, Longoria is currently in L.A. prepping for her role in the new film "Frontera."
