Unfortunately for Nichole, Carney's rendition of Pink's Perfect defeated her opponent's performance of The White Stripe's Seven Nation Army as the Twitter voting battle came to a close.

For The Voice's other four contestants, Tuesday held nothing but good news. Pharrell Williams swelled with pride as Sawyer Fredericks dominated the evening, snagging two iTunes Top 10 bonuses as her versions of Shine On and Take Me to the River proved to be a major hit with viewers. Meghan Linsey's rendition of Amazing Grace also landed on the charts, giving Team Blake Shelton a much-needed boost.

Meanwhile, Team Adam Levine's Joshua Davis and Team Pharrell's Koryn Hawthorne managed to slide in under the wire strictly thanks to the public's vote.
