Ajax and Manchester City FC will go head-to-head on Oct. 24 in Amsterdam Arena. Kick-off begins at 8:45 BST, 2:45 p.m. ET. Fox Soccer 2 Go provides live stream coverage of the game or you can also listen to the game at UEFA.com

Manchester City has top scorer Edin Dzeko, who scored six goals this season, including last weekend's double against West Brom. However BBC Sports noted that the team will be without David Silva - who has yet to recover from a hamstring injury he got last week from playing against France - Maicon, Jack Rodwell and Javi Garcia, all because of injuries.

They are last year's Premium League champions  but the team is facing difficulty holding their ground in the Champions League games. Manchester City is third in Group D, scoring only one point from their two opening games and failing to win either one: a 3-2 defeat to Real Madrid and a 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund.

"We haven't started very well and we know it will be a difficult game against Ajax," Manchester City's manager Roberto Mancini said coming into Wednesday's match. "And we had a bad game against Dortmund, but it is important we don't give away so many chances to score."

However, Ajax coach Frank de Boer thinks Manchester City has the potential to put up a good fight on Wednesday.

"If you look at their team they have a lot of players to choose from. They are all fantastic players so whoever they put on, they all have quality. As a fan, I like to watch [Sergio] Agüero, he's fast, and has an all-round game," he said. "It's always difficult to put your finger on why City aren't performing like they are in the Premier League. [But] things can change very quickly in this team because they have so much quality."

Ajax drew three of their last four league matches and lost both of their opening Champions League games. If they win Wednesday's game, it will be their first home victory against an English team since 1980, according to UEFA.com. City's only other trip to the Netherlands ended in a 1-1 draw in the 1978/79 UEFA Cup first round.
