He knows his brother may be up to something, but Rick (Jacob Young) will be in for the shock of his life if Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) tells him the truth about Maya (Karla Mosley) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Ridge has expressed several times how unhappy he is working at Forrester with his little brother as CEO and nearly quit the company--until Carter (Lawrence St. Victor) told him that Maya was transgender. And though Ridge could have easily used the secret to bring down his brother, he opted to fill in both Brook (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric (John McCook) instead--and now, the shock they also feel is making Rick suspicious.

"How on earth can Maya keep something like this a secret?" Brooke asks in a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 6 episode.

However, despite the shock, she and Eric may convince Ridge to keep things quiet just a little bit longer, as they consider possible means of damage control for if the secret becomes exposed to the public. As a result, when Rick calls for his brother once again, and demands he tell him just what he means when he says Maya isn't who she claims to be, Ridge won't say a word--though he will admit that he wants to let his brother in on the secret.

"What are you accusing her of?" Rick demands in the clip.

"Ypu really want to know? Because I'd live to tell you," Ridge replies.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
