Survivor is going to make an exciting cast announcement after Wednesday night's episode of Worlds Apart, one that will have many fans ready to take action.

Rodney Requests The Tribe Vote Him Out On His Birthday on 'Survivor'?

Diehard Survivor fans are anticipating a big announcement that will be made Wednesday night involving season 31, which is set to air in the fall. The announcement involves fans being able to vote for the cast of the next season from a pool of one-time players who have not won the game.

Dubbed Survivor: Second Chance, the concept has been spoiled over the past few months by Twitter user Redmond, who has received inside info from the show. Redmond released the pool of candidates, and while not completely confirmed, it does give a good indication of who will likely be in season 31.

Recent players said to be in the pool include Spencer Bledsoe, Kass McQuillen and Tasha Fox from Survivor: Cagayan, Jeremy Collins and Kelley Wentworth from San Juan del Sur and many more.

Intriguingly, there is also a fair selection of old-school players in the mix. From the very first season, Kelly Wiglesworth is allegedly in the mix, as well as Jeff Varner from The Australian Outback, Teresa Cooper from Africa and Andrew Savage from Pearl Islands.

The players chosen from the list will be chosen at least in part by America, though it is currently unknown how many. Some fans believe that America will vote for half the cast while the other half will be chosen by production.

The official cast for Survivor: Second Chance will be announced at the live reunion show for Survivor: Worlds Apart, at which point they will apparently fly out directly to Cambodia, the location of the next two seasons. All of this information is via Redmond, and has to be officially confirmed by CBS.
