There doesn't seem to be a shortage of good looking men on the Emerald Isle these days, as Belfast-born actor Jamie Dornan has helped Irish lads become the "sexiest men in the world."

Combine good looks with a sexy accent, and Dornan, along with other stars such as Colin Farrell, Liam Neeson and more are now considered the sexiest batch of men on the planet, according to a new poll by American women.

Belfast Live reports on Wednesday that a study of 110,000 people by MissTravel.com found Irish men at the top of the list, followed by Australian, Pakistani and American men. English, Scottish, Italian, Nigerian, Danish and Spanish men round out the top ten of sexiest men from around the world.

For American men, Armenian, Barbadian, and American ladies topped their poll of the sexiest women on the planet, which is probably a nod to the Kardashian family, who have Armenian roots, and Barbadian-born singer Rihanna.

If that weren't enough, the actor was also named the celebrity world's "Hottest Hunk" in a new poll and his fans from around the world have definitely agreed.

According to Heat Magazine (via RTE News), the Belfast native took the top spot, beating other celebrity heartthrobs such as Zac Efron and Harry Styles along with Spanish model Diego Barreuco and Harry Judd.

David Beckham, Calvin Harris, Tyler Blackburn, Charlie Hunnam and Jay James round off the top 10 in the annual list.
