This time around though she's telling single parents that they shouldn't be scared about dipping their toes in the dating scene and instead, take on the new opportunity without any reservations.

According to Yahoo Parenting on Wednesday, when asked what she would tell a newly single parent about getting back into the dating scene, Frankel said, "Be in the moment. Meeting new and interesting people - and that alone - can have value and help you grow as a person. You can make a new friend, learn what you like, what you don't like."

Frankel added, "Don't beat yourself up, because every person isn't prince(ss) charming. Don't put a lot of pressure on yourself."

As far as what qualities to look for in a partner, Frankel says you should start with honesty, especially when it comes to what you want in your future.

She said, "Women attract the right type of man if they're honest about having kids - and that's something they are really passionate about. You attract the type of man that wants that - a responsible family man."

Frankel separated from her ex-husband Jason Hoppy back in December 2012 after two years of marriage. The ex-couple co-parent their 5-year-old daughter Bryn together.
