Olympian Bryan Clay did something pretty bizarre yet clever to help his daughter out with something.

Jordan Spieth Receives Special Gift At Mavericks Game

On Tuesday, the athlete decided to do something for his daughter Ellie and her loose tooth. Rather than just yanking on it with his fingers, he made it a little more creative.

In a video posted on Clay's Twitter page, Ellie's tooth is connected to a string that wraps around a javelin in her dad's hands. When she's told to say good-bye to the tooth, she lets out a little "bye" as she prepares for it to fly away. Clay tells her to keep her chin up and then throws the javelin out of sight, leaving questions if the tooth was simply yanked or if something more serious happened.

As it turns out, Ellie was totally fine and to everyone's surprise, the tooth actually did go off into the distance. The video shows the after-math of the young girl's teeth and she does indeed have a gap in there- although it's covered with a little blood.

The people in the background cheered and Clay's daughter looked pretty satisfied to finally get rid of that pearly white. Clay later added another tweet to his page to let the public know what happened to her fang once it soared out of sight. "Oh no, don't worry, the tooth is safely under her pillow! :)," he wrote.
