Beauty and the Beast director Stuart Gillard recently took a bunch of questions from fans via a special Twitter interaction and revealed some interesting bits about season 4.

One Of The Main Characters To Die In Season 3?  

While the premiere of season 3 of the show has been delayed by almost a month -- even Gillard doesn't know the cause of the postponement -- fans were more interested in the development on the next chapter.

One fan asked Gillard what the "overall theme" for season 4 would be. The director kept it simple, tweeting that it would be "romance and adventure."

A New Beast Being Introduced In Season 3 Of Beauty and the Beast?  

Some fans got more technical, like one queried about how many episodes season 4 would run for. While Gillard did not have a number for the fan, saying he was not sure yet but did reveal that shooting would begin end of May and that the cast of the show was "excited to be coming back."

Gillard also expressed his gratitude to fans and stated their loyalty was why the show kept coming back on air.

The director also dished a bit about the inspirations on writing the stories for the series, when a fan asked if the show was inspired by real-life interactions. He responded in the affirmative, stating that "to some degree they do."

The first preview of season 3 of Beauty and the Beast was unveiled last month and it showed Vincent (Jay Ryan) readying to propose to Catherine (Kristin Kreuk). The clip also shows the couple facing plenty challenges moving in together and trying to work domestically. At one point Vincent is also heard telling Catherine that he isn't being able to cope. "Moving in with you is causing a few primal issues," he says.

Season 3 of Beauty and the Beast will be premiering on The CW on June 11 at 8 p.m.
