The Arkers post-apocalyptic world is continually expanding, bringing our heroes into contact with the dangerous, the wondrous, and the unexpected. When the CW drama returns next fall, viewers should prepare to stumble into completely new territory.

"As is clear by Season 2, we love to expand our world in the show. What started out as the Dropship has grown to include Mount Weather, Camp Jaha, Tondc (#ripTondc), the Desert, and Finn's secret bunker, writer Aaron Ginsburg teased on Monday. The two-part season 2 finale dropped the name of another locale, leaving viewers - and Clarke - more than just a little curious about Polis. Unfortunately, the location of the Grounder capital is a mystery, one which series creator Jason Rothenberg doesn't think fans will be able to solve. Considering the series' completely unexpected City of Light twist, Rothenberg might just be right.

"No. No one will figure this one out," Rothenberg tweeted, informing viewers that Annapolis is defiantly not someplace that Polis takes it's name from.
