While Toni Braxton and her sisters are heading into their fifth season of WeTV’s Braxton Family Values, the Grammy Award-winning singer dished on what fans can expect.

“The new season of ‘Braxton Family Values’ is always drama. Some family secrets come out. But in the end we always try to show we’re family,” she said to HuffPost Live Tuesday.

Still, Braxton said that she does have boundaries when it comes to how much of her life she’s willing to reveal.

“I will not share going to the bathroom. If they could cover you going to tinkle, they would. I’m like, that’s off limits for me.”

As for the tension viewers will see between her and her sisters, the cameras definitely got that, much to the Braxtons' dismay.

“We’ve shot scenes and too much information was revealed and it caused friction, but it forces us to work through it, even when…sometimes we don’t want to. That’s every season. I don't think we can top ourselves. We’re just gonna show our lives.”

She also opened up about comparisons between Braxton Family Values and Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

“I love the Kardashians and what it shows is family power,” she said. “We kind of like that. They were a trendsetter and the Kardashians helped us get on their air as a reality show.”

The Kardashians changed reality TV when their series Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered in 2007. Braxton Family Values debuted in 2010.

Braxton Family Values returns to WeTV Thursday, May 21 at 9/8c.
