Emma Roberts is hoping to come back in time for American Horror Story in the middle of filming for Scream Queens.

Angela Bassett Hints At Possible 'Civil War' Setting For 'American Horror Story: Hotel'?

Roberts is a very busy actress and now she's hoping to pull double duty on television. She is set to star in the highly anticipated Fox series Scream Queens, which debuts this fall. The show is a Ryan Murphy production, just like American Horror Story where Roberts starred for two seasons.

Now with American Horror Story: Hotel debuting this fall, Roberts is hoping she can somehow appear in both. Roberts appeared at the Fox Upfronts in New York City this week where she talked to E! News about returning.

'American Horror Story' Is Heading Back To Los Angeles

"To go from American Horror Story to this and then hopefully back to American Horror Story at the end of the year is a dream come true," Roberts said.

When asked directly if she was going to be in AHS: Hotel, Roberts was positive about the idea but didn't know exactly.

"I think so at the end. I'm hoping," she said. "But I don't know. You'll have to ask Ryan."

So far, the cast of American Horror Story: Hotel is shaping up to be one of the most significant ensembles on television. The new season is set to star Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Chloë Sevigny and Lady Gaga. Other names could be announced in the weeks to come as well.

American Horror Story: Hotel debuts in October on FX.
