Marina Krim, the Manhattan mother of the two young children that were fatally stabbed in her Upper West Side apartment had a daily blog that detailed the "precious hours" she had spent on a daily basis with them.

About a block away at nearby Central Park around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, the stay-at-home mother allegedly returned to her West 75th Street place only to find Leo, 2, and Lucia, 6, tragically dead in her bathtub.  Krim also found her nanny Yoselyn Ortega, 50, in critical condition from what's now being described as a self-inflicted stab wound. Ortega apparently failed to meet Krim for swimming lessons along with her two children.

"Something happened to my kids!" the weeping mother screamed, who also wrapped the nanny's neck with a towel, according to the New York Post.

Glen Loody, a doorman at the residence, stated that he'd heard the mother's cries and dialed 911.

"She was crying. She was screaming," Loody said.

According to the Post, Krim had regularly kept an online journal of her children's lives, which included family vacations, apple-picking tips and walks down Broadway, amongst other notable activities.

In her latest web diary entry under "Life with the Little Krim Kids," posted a mere three hours before the deaths of Leo and Lucia, the mother wrote about Leo learning to put words together.

"Leo speaks in the most adorable way possible," Krim posted while describing her mood as "amused."

In a May entry, Krim elaborated on her late son's fascination with his brand new Crocs shoes.

"Even at nap time - Josie, our nanny, took them off and he screamed bloody murder, so she put them back on and he went right to sleep."

Further back in February, the mother also doted about visiting Ortega's family in the Dominican Republic, appearing to reference her with the nickname Josie.

"We met Josie's amazing familia!!! And the Dominican Republic is a wonderful country!!," Krim wrote.

Ortega currently remains hospitalized and in critical condition at a Manhattan hospital. Commissioner Kelly stated that detectives have yet to speak to her regarding the children's murder. Ortega has no known criminal record.

According to Fox News, Katherine Ortega, Ortega's 28-year-old niece had stated that her aunt seemed a bit unusual and was "acting kind of nervous lately."

However, Katherine also expressed her shock over the nightmare situation.

"This is just shocking.  She loved those kids.  I don't know what would make her do this."
