On Wednesday, the gold medal winning champion took to her page to post a photo of her face that shows off her colorful eyes and pursing lips. Her hair flows down as she wears a black shirt with a cross on her necklace.
Instagram users told the gymnast how stunning she looks with comments that say, "Always gorgeous!" and "You look like a cute fairy :)"
McKayla Maroney Reveals Details On Her 'Horrible' Dream
In an interview with Teen Vogue, Maroney revealed that when it comes to being a gymnast, there is a lot of competition on who has the best look.
"In gymnastics, everything is a competition," she said. "You want to have your hair look the best and your makeup look the best. You want to be the best, and you want to have the prettiest leotard. For Team USA, we want to have the best leotards that we can, and we always come up with something very cool."
Maroney describes her style as "edgy" and "casual" with several types of attire.
"I really like crop tops," she said. "I like how you can dress them up or down, with jeans or a skirt and heels. I like to be showy and cute. I don't want to be in just a jacket and pants and boots."
