Which Contestant From 'The Voice' Season 8 Top 5 Has 'Evolved The Most' Through Style Choices?

The Voice YouTube channel uploaded a video of Linsey Friday reflecting on her journey thus far, which can be viewed below.

She called the blinds "insane" since she managed to get Williams, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera to turn close to the end of her audition. Shelton didn't turn around for her, but things seem to have worked out since she is his final contestant now.

"Blake is an amazing coach," Linsey shared, adding, "He is very genuine. He lets you be an artist. I think that's sometimes what artists really need. Is to feel like it's okay to be yourself."

Linsey credits her knockout rounds performance of "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" as "the moment that I really came into my own as a soul singer."

The Voice has allowed for Linsey to learn a lot about herself.

She noted how she was part of a country duo for a long time before taking this leap to explore her individual musical talents.

"To be out here on my own and doing my own thing and trying new things and genres. It's been really good for me to realize that I can do this on my own. It's instilled a lot of confidence in me as a performer and artist," Linsey dished.

Tune in on Mondays and Tuesdays starting at 8 p.m. ET for Season 8 of The Voice on NBC.
