Although casting decisions have yet to be made, Wakile recently spoke out, revealing she has been in contact with Bravo in regard to a possible comeback.

“You’ll have to watch and see but there’s been a lot of talk,” Wakile confirmed to OK! Magazine on Thursday.

Wakile was brought aboard The Real Housewives of New Jersey during the show's third season as an official, full-time housewife, but ahead of season 6, was demoted to a friend of the wives, and appeared only in select episodes.

As she awaits a decision from the network, Wakile is staying busy, promoting her dessert cookbook, and working on another.

“I’m still having signings with my book Indulge. I’m having so much fun meeting everybody and talking about their favorite desserts," she explained. "And I’m working on my next book!”

So far, Teresa Giudice has been the only housewife to sign on for season 7, despite her current incarceration.

“They are waiting for Teresa to get out to film,” an insider exclusively told All Things Real Housewives on Wednesday. “The other ladies have not signed on yet.”

The site also revealed Giudice's husband, Joe, and four children, would star in a spinoff series prior to production on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“Teresa is supportive of Joe,” the source said. “She has been involved in all the decisions that have been made.”
