They've both been keeping secrets from their loved ones, and now, the truth could drastically alter the relationships Maya (Karla Mosley) and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) share with Rick (Jacob Young) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Maya finally came clean to Rick about being transgender, and now, she will have to suffer the consequences of keeping such a monumental and huge secret from him until he chose to propose to her--something he likely won't take well. Even if he surprises her be being okay with the fact that she wasn't born a woman physically, the fact that she omitted that major truth about herself could cause Rick to rethink their entire relationship because he feels betrayed.

Things won't be any easier for the couple either after the truth becomes a huge scandal for the company--which could cost Rick his job as the Forrester Creations CEO. If his contract has a morality clause, the way he propped Maya up without acknowledging that she was transgender (which could have brought positive PR to the company), could be a violation. If he loses his job over the scandal, any hope Maya has he will forgive her for lying and they can stay together will likely vanish.

Meanwhile, Rick's ex-wife, Caroline, will finally return from her extended absence in New York--and when she returns by sitting in a wheelchair, she will thoroughly shock Ridge, who was not expecting the change. The move is set to mirror what happened to Godfrey a few months back, meaning Caroline's trip to New York was met with a car accident--something she kept secret from Ridge and the family members she had in L.A. And though they will all be glad if she is really okay, the fact that she kept the truth from them could lead to some uncomfortable situations for her as well.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
