The live episodes of General Hospital will continue, and the unexpected reveals are going to continue changing the game for all of the soap's characters.

Someone Gets Shot When 'General Hospital' Goes Live

In the live episode which aired May 15, two major developments set the stage to completely put stories involving Anna (Finola Hughes), as well as Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Franco (Roger Howarth) on completely new trajectories.

Franco went back to the Metro Court to apologize to Nina for thinking she was still crazy and had something to do with Avery's kidnapping a few weeks back--but when he arrived at her hotel suite he was greeted with the most unexpected surprise when Nina emerged from the bedroom wearing a wedding dress.

Duke's Death Brings Unanswered Questions

After Nina assured him she wasn't crazy and was in fact getting married, Franco demanded being given the chance to see her groom, and now, on the May 18 episode, he will get to meet the man who is allegedly going to make Nina a wife for the second time in her life--and he will be genuinely shocked when the person is revealed.

Meanwhile, Anna finally got her chance to exact revenge on Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) for killing Duke (Ian Buchanan). After tracking him down to the docks, where he was awaiting a boat to help him flee Port Charles for good, she shot him right in the heart.

Now, not only will there be a race to try and find a way to possible save Carlos' life, but there could be consequences for Anna to face as well.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
