Fans can hardly wait until the new season of Rookie Blue starts on ABC. Now they’ve been given a brand new look at the premiere that will definitely be interesting.

In the 14-second clip, Chloe questions Nick about what seems to be his dating life. It looks like he’s made some type of decision and she’s trying to convince him to open up as to why.

She asks him, “Is this about Gail? Andy? That girl you made out with and never called you back? What is it?”

He makes it clear whatever he did had nothing to do with Gail and Andy, but also adds, “I just need a change, OK?”

In another sneak peek Sam tells Andy he has to talk to her about something. It’s likely that he’s going to let her know his ex-girlfriend Marlo, is pregnant with his child. But his conversation is quickly interrupted when a stranger dressed in all black (including a ski mask) attacks her.

But Nick, Sam and Andy aren’t the only ones facing intense situations this season. It looks like that’s the pattern for all of the characters.

A press release via Shaw Media reads, “They have all grown and are more resilient than ever. This season, they will have to learn to embrace living in the gray areas, because life is complicated and the best laid out plans are just that. But sometimes it’s the unpredictable things life throws our way that turn out to be exactly what we need.”
