Being honest with Rick (Jacob Young) didn't end with her being tossed out and single as she expected, but Maya (Karla Mosley) and the rest of the Forrester team will still need to deal with major fallout on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Rick and Maya's Relationship Takes An Unexpected Turn

Unfortunately for Maya, just as she finally told Rick the truth about being transgender, Bill (Don Diamont) published the story across his platform of publications, and now, with the story out there and a potential major scandal brewing as a result, the fallout could be huge.

First, Rick will begin threatening the Spencer team with their publishing the story--intent on protecting Maya's privacy, and trying to ensure that the scandal doesn't also affect the future the two plan on having as the CEO and Matriarch of the Forrester family.

Maya Finally Tells Rick The Truth

"You take down those disgusting stories about Maya's medical history or I swear I will destroy you!" he threatens via a phone call in a preview clip for the Tuesday, May 19 episode.

And the scandal won't only affect public images and relationships either--with private ones being destroyed by the secret getting out as well.

Nicole (Reign Edwards) in particular will be concerned that the relationship she finally formed with her long-lost sister will now be destroyed because she chose to entrust Wyatt (Darin Brooks) with the secret--only for him to betray her by telling Bill.

"She'll never forgive me," she says in the clip. "O've lost my sister all over again."

And though he's the one responsible for the story being out there, Bill will also have to deal with the consequences of his actions, as his marriage to Katie (Heather Tom) once again threatens to fall apart after she realizes he went behind her back and embarrassed her nephew in the press the way he did.

"I expect you to do the right thing, and sometimes that's hard, sometimes that means walking away from something," she says to Bill in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
